Frequently, writers walk unnoticed among us, having learned to disguise their quirks.
I’m delighted, this week, that my novel, “The Satyr in Bungalow D” has been featured in two wonderful stacks about writing and the publishing business: Sari Botton’s Memoir Land and Christine Sneed’s Bookish.
And yeah, there is a lot of me in the story of a lovelorn satyr in the Catskills in 1963. But I didn’t realize that until after I wrote the book.
I haven't read those Substacks or your novel, but I want to answer yes, you really ARE a guy with horns. Because I don't think I'll ever have another opportunity to answer yes to a question like that. Unless that Michelangelo Moses statue comes to life, but if it did, I doubt it would come to me with the question.
excellent.
