I don’t think I’ve mentioned this for a few hours, but my comic novel, “The Satyr in Bungalow D”, comes out tomorrow.
And since music figures very highly in satyr life there is, of course, a playlist to go with it.
It’s very romantic*. If there’s nobody in your life right now, you will become so intoxicated you will find yourself calling someone you’ve had a crush on for a long time and making them dinner. Ideally, a crush who is not working for you and can sue you for inappropriate workplace behavior, but aren’t there romances which are worth it?
Happy May. And as the satyrs say, see you in the bushes.
* Eugenia Zuckerman, with an aria from “La Boheme.” Wynton Marsalis doing, “My Romance”. Frankie Avalon singing, “Venus.” (Yes, really. Satyrs venerate her. And I know you love to dance to that old ‘50s stuff.)
We received ours in the mail!
It has appeared on my Kindle.
I know, Bezos...whatayagonnado?
