It says so much about another time in the depression and the Catskills or as some have dubbed them “The Jewish Alps.” I’m not Jewish (Lutheran if you must know) but this story is so well done I have shared it with Jewish friends who I’m sure will love it. Beautiful story. Grew up 45 minutes away in the same years. On Sunday drives through Woodstock, Margaretville, Fleischmanns I imagined the lives of locals my age. And here you were.
